So here is the thing... I have this blog now... and I don't know what exactly to do with it. I feel the need to write something deep and important, but currently my brain is functioning on low batteries and clever thoughts are not available at the moment.
I finished reading Angels & Demons this week. I read it because my mother said that it was way better than The Da Vinci Code. I must say I was one of the few people in the world who was NOT impressed with The Da Vinci Code. It had a lot of interesting information, but there was barely a plot. The same goes for Angels & Demons. Once again, interesting subject matter, but lacking in the plot department. But mom was right, Angels was definitely better than Da Vinci. Believe me, I'm not saying that these books are terrible, because they are not; it's just that I don't see what all the fuss is about. Halfway through Angels, I figured out who the bad guy was. It took me forever to get into both books, but I will admit by the last hundred or so pages, I couldn't put it down. I did enjoy the different perspectives on religion, I just wonder how much is from Dan Browns imagination and what is based on reality.
Next in line are the two new Mercades Lackey books and then I'm going to try to read "Gods and Generals'. We'll see how that works out.
